Remote Learning at BNPS

Update 3/8/20

Hi Everyone
As many of you may have heard on the news all schools will be returning to Remote Learning as of Wednesday. This will see a number of plans needed to be put into action for our school.

No school on Tuesday

Tuesday has been declared a Pupil Free Day by the Department of Education to allow teachers to prepare for Remote Learning. This of course follows our Curriculum Day planned for tomorrow and means teachers will not be able to see students before Remote Learning begins.

Materials and Device Pick Up

To allow for students to prepare for Remote Learning we will be organising a timetable for Tuesday so they can visit to pick up books, learning packs and devices if they are again borrowing one. I will let families know more about how this will work later today.

Parent Teacher Interviews Postponed

The interviews planned for Tuesday and Wednesday are now postponed. We will let families in Grades Prep and 1/2 know of when the new times will be in the next few weeks

Onsite Learning

This program will again be available to families who are working in essential services and who are unable to provide support for students to learn from home. If you qualify for this program you may book a place via the link below. At this stage this program will begin on Wednesday. Please be reminded that this program is limited to these families only.

As I receive further updates from the Department of Education I will let you know more. Please keep checking Compass for further news.
Please continue to stay safe and healthy.
